Our quest

"Now no joy but lacks salt,
That is not dashed with pain
And weariness and fault;
I crave the stain

Of tears, the aftermark
Of almost too much love,
The sweet of bitter bark
And burning clove"

Robert Frost, To Earthward

Our journey from the Atacama desert to the heights of the Bolivian Altiplano, crossing the immense Uyuni salt desert and finally leading to high Peruvian Andes, originates from a quest, the passionate quest of salt. Why going to the other edge of the planet to find what is in our everyday meal?

The salt we are searching lies beyond breathtaking mineral structures, it represents this uncatchable and highly volatile feeling, formed by the sweat of our efforts swept by high altitude winds, solitude in a vast natural sanctuary and solid love and friendship. Salt of life.

We are yet about to leave for the physical and emotional journey into sand, we can’t wait to give you some news!
